Funeral services for Carolyn Gail Barbee, 82, of Hayden will be at 1 p.m. Thursday December 4th at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the service at Fairview West Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the service from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Hanceville Funeral Home.
Mrs. Barbee was born October 19, 1943, in Cullman, Alabama to the late Coy & Clara Campbell. She passed away December 1, 2025, in Cullman, Alabama.
Carolyn passed away surrounded by the love of her family. She was a truly wonderful person whose warmth, kindness, and gentle spirit touched everyone who knew her. Carolyn cherished her family above all else, and being a mother and grandmother was one of her greatest joys. Her grandchildren held a special place in her heart, and she poured endless love, encouragement, and laughter into their lives.
Carolyn will be remembered for her compassionate nature, her steady presence, and the way she made others feel valued and cared for. Her legacy lives on in the memories she created, the love she shared, and the family she adored.
Mrs. Barbee is survived by her children, Tonya Hancock (Jeff), Charlotte Isbell, Michael Barbee; grandchildren, Stephanie Leach (Brian), Jessica Henderson (Jeremy), Pricilla Isbell, Justin Helms, Brittany Helms, Derrick Isbell, Shanna Alexander (Jonathan); and her brother, Troy J. Campbell (Wilma).
Mrs. Barbee was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne H. Barbee; parents, Coy & Clara Campbell; and her sister, Brenda Watson.
