Larry Guest, age 85, of Cullman, Alabama passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2025. Larry was born on February 20, 1940, to James Irby and Elsie Inez Loftin Guest in Geraldine, Alabama. Besides his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years Mary Anne Pettey Guest whom Larry referred to as his very best friend.
Survivors include his Sons; Chad Guest (Bridgette) and Shane Guest (Kristi) and a sister; Jane Sampson.
Other survivors include his seven grandchildren; Carter (Madelyn), Faith, Shana and Isabella, Mason, Braylon, and Libby.
Larry was an accountant for several businesses including Marshall Durbin, Agri Business, and Lansing. He then went to work for and retired from Holmes Oil.
Visitation will take place at Moss Service Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday June 29, 2025, at 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Dr. Edwin Hayes officiating. Interment will be in Cullman City Cemetery.
