BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Republican Jared Hudson on May 28, announced his candidacy for the United States Senate for the 2026 election. The seat is currently held by Sen. Tommy Tuberville, R-Alabama, whose term is up Jan. 3, 2027. Tuberville has announced his candidacy for Alabama governor.

Below is Hudson’s full announcement:

Jared Hudson, a Navy SEAL, Founder/CEO of the anti-trafficking nonprofit Covenant Rescue Group, husband and father of three, launched his campaign for U.S. Senate today.

Coach Tuberville has been a force in Washington because he’s not a career politician. He’s a political outsider and a straight shooter. So is Jared Hudson. He’s a Christian, conservative warrior who will fight for Alabama’s values and always have President Trump’s back.

“I’ve spent my life taking the fight to America’s enemies. Now it’s time to continue the mission in Washington,” said Hudson. “I’ll be a warrior for President Trump’s America First Agenda.”

In the U.S. Senate, Jared Hudson will be an uncompromising conservative who will take on the swamp and the political establishment. Hudson will stand with President Trump to secure the border and deport criminal illegal aliens. He’ll cut taxes to get our economy working for hardworking Alabamians and fight back against the radical Left’s attacks on our Christian, conservative values.

Jared Hudson and his wife and three children live in Birmingham. They are active members of their church.
