Margaret Vickers Weathers, 81, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and public servant.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Chalmus Weathers; her parents, W.A. and Julia Belle Vickers; her brother, John Vickers; and her sister, Anna Belle Vickers. She is survived by her sister, Alice Hall; her daughter, Twyla Nall; her son, Justin Craig; four grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
Margaret was a longtime member of St. Paul Methodist Church, where she served and raised her family. She worked faithfully at the Boaz Chamber of Commerce and served as the first female member of the Boaz City Council.
Outside of her civic involvement, Margaret loved traveling and tending to her yard.
Her warmth, wisdom, and grace will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
