CULLMAN, Ala. – Parents with young students outside the Cullman City Schools district who are interested in enrolling their children as out-of-district students will have an opportunity soon — though space is limited.
Out-of-district registration for kindergarten students will begin on May 8 for the 2025-2026 school year. This registration is for prospective kindergarten students whose families live outside the city limits and are interested in having their children attend Cullman City Primary School (CCPS). Registration will be conducted online through the Cullman City Schools website.

Beginning at 12:01 a.m. on May 8, 2025, a link to the Out of District Pre-Registration Form will be available at the website listed above. The online form does not guarantee placement in Cullman City Schools, but is used for pre-registration and allows school officials to create a timestamped list for available out-of-district slots. Those who are able to obtain a slot will be notified to complete the full registration process.Â
The following documents will be needed if you are notified for final CCPS registration: original birth certificate (preferred but not required); original Social Security card (preferred but not required); current Alabama Immunization Record (aka blue card); two proofs of residency (e.g., current home ownership title or a lease/rent agreement, utility bill, etc.); drivers licenses of parent or legal guardian; and custody documents, if applicable.
