Funeral service for Lena Elizabeth Johnson, 76, of Vinemont will be at 2 p.m., Sunday, February 16th, 2025 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Center Cemetery in Bankhead Forest, Rev. G.T. Robertson officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12-2 p.m. prior to the service.

Mrs. Johnson passed away February 12, 2025 at her residence. She was born April 8, 1948 to Floyd & Clercy Inez Sellers Steele. She loved all children and it didn’t matter if they were hers or someone else. She treated them all the same. She loved Conway Twitty and Billy Ray Cyrus.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brothers and sisters, Pete Steele, Maxine Johnson, Rhonda Steele, R.V. Steele, Harvey Steele, Ira Steele.
Survivors include her sons, Gary Carter, Paul Skinner, Ray Skinner; daughter, Angie Calloway; brothers, Robert Steele, Shorty (Starlon) Steele, Sam Steele; sisters, Stella King, Sarah (Lawrence) Hawthorne, Nadine Carvell; seven grandchildren, Allen Carter, Justin Williams, Justina Williams, James Calloway (Katie), Jill Linton, Daniel Calloway, Angel Calloway; nine great grandchildren; family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Allen Carter, Scott King, Chris Cook, Ryan Yarbrough, Chris Sterling, Landin Williams.
