Alice Jeanette Rackley, 84, of Arley, Alabama, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 30, 2025.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John L. Rackley; her parents, Warren L. Lefan Sr. and Annie Ruth Lefan; her daughter, Linda Diane Bates; and her sister, Renee Lefan, and grandson Curtis Noll.
Alice is lovingly remembered by her children: Gene (Donna) Coleman, Johnny (Debra) Rackley, Edwin (Judy) Coleman, Deborah (Craig) Noll, and Anita (Scott) Oden. She is also survived by her brother, Warren (Shirley) Lefan Jr.; her sister, Evie Margaret (Kenneth) Holmes; 17 cherished grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; and a dear friend, Rose Pair. She leaves behind many other family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Sunday, February 16, 2025, from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. at Moss Service Funeral Home in Cullman, AL, where a celebration of Alice’s life will begin at 3 p.m.
Alice proudly served as a United States Marine, demonstrating her dedication and love for her country. Military Honors burial will take place on Friday, February 21, 2025, at 1:15 p.m. at Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Tunnel to Towers Foundation and Ruff Rescuers United in Alice’s memory.
