CULLMAN, Ala. – Cullman Women Sing will present its annual “Sounds of the Season” concert on Tuesday, Dec. 3, at 7 p.m. in the sanctuary of Seventh Street Baptist Church. This evening of Christmas and spiritual music is free to attend, though donations are appreciated.

The concert will feature a blend of sacred and secular Christmas and holiday songs, with some arrangements of familiar favorites as well as a few new selections.

“I think this lovely variety of familiar and new Christmas tunes will be just the thing to help folks get into the Christmas spirit,” said Laura Doss, artistic director for Cullman Women Sing. “There will be something for everyone.”

The evening will include performances by guest artists Domenico Brunetti, who will play a saxophone “Fantasie,” and Benjamin Jones, who will perform “O Come, O Come, Emmanuel” on the cello. Both will be accompanied by pianist Kristi Warden, who will also join Cindy Pinyan for a piano duet of “We Need a Little Christmas.”

Cullman Women Sing is also welcoming a few new members to the group this season. “We’re excited for them to sing their first concert with us,” Doss added.

Seventh Street Baptist Church is located at 708 Seventh St. SW in Cullman. For more information about the concert or Cullman Women Sing, visit the official Cullman Women Sing Facebook page.
