SYLVANIA, Ala. – Vinemont traveled to face the Rams in the first round of the AHSAA playoffs and got shutout 41-0.
Vinemont kept it close in the first quarter, trailing just 7-0 going into the second but the Rams scored on the first play of the second quarter to add to their lead and they tacked on three more scores before the break to make it a 35-0 game at halftime.
Sylvania added another touchdown in the third quarter to go up 41-0 and those were the final points of the night. Vinemont’s season came to an end in round one with a 41-0 loss to the Rams.
