Golden Hour Studio opens
CULLMAN, Ala. – A trio of women has teamed up to empower others and make them comfortable in their own skin. Golden Hour Studio brings a fresh take on the esthetic and beauty industry to Cullman by focusing its brand on core aspects of body positivity and self-expression.
Co-owner Ambrianna Zimmerman, spray tan artist of the crew, said that while the beauty industry and esthetician community in Cullman is packed, and perhaps even a little crowded to some, she is excited to bring her Southern hospitality to the forefront by making clients feel comfortable right as they walk in, and offering a truly custom approach.
“I sit down with the client and we go over their current skincare routine, and then I color match based on hair color, complexion and eye color. The better they feel in the environment, the more comfortable and confident they are going to be!” exclaimed Zimmerman.
“And we don’t do orange!” she laughed, gesturing to her shelf of additives and finishes to create the perfect tone.
Co-owner and makeup artist Brooklyn Gibson said she brings eight years of experience in making women feel beautiful to the table, offering cosmetics and hairstyling for special events, as well as classes. She focuses on enhancing her client’s features, rather than concealing them.
“We’re pro-body image; we’re very body positive. We want people to leave here feeling positive about themselves!” she smiled.
Rounding out the studio is co-owner Ariana HaDavia, who brings three years of lash extension experience and hopes to be able to offer permanent makeup like lip blushing and brows soon.
HaDavia emphasized the importance of “sharing the love” and creating that positive environment for her clients, noting, “I love it, you know, we love our people, our clients!”
