Library summer programs plentiful

CULLMAN, Ala. – The Cullman County Public Library is offering summer programs for children and adults.

Tuesday, June 6, at 10 a.m. kids will get to meet therapy dogs and learn how they are trained to help people.

The next kids’ program will be on Thursday, June 8, at 10 a.m. The “Paper Robotic Hands” program will see children making their own robotic hands and competing in various challenges with their creations.

For adults, “Jean’s Nifty Knitters” will take place Tuesday, June 6, at 12:30 p.m. This activity involves knitting and crocheting. All skill levels are invited to participate.

On Thursday, June 8, at 9:30 a.m. the library will host a yoga class. No experience required.

Also on Thursday, will be the “Crafternoon” program at 1 p.m. This craft activity will involve faux flower arranging with craft water. Bring your own vase, as the library will have a limited number.

The library is hosting summer reading programs for kids and adults all summer long.
