HEMEL HEMPSTEAD, HERTFORDSHIRE, — Hemel Storm are delighted to announce that we have completed the signing of US guard Seth Swalve from Gtuni, a Georgian A-League side.
Swalve arrives in Hemel following a successful season in Georgia, he averaged 12.5 points a game, shooting 53.2% from 2, an incredible 53.7% from 3 whilst dishing out 5.2 assists per game. Swalve was awarded for his efforts by being selected as one of the best players in the league featuring within Eurobasket’s second team for the A-League season.
Swalve will be remembered by the Storm faithful for representing USA Select. Seth produced a truly brilliant performance against us last year, scoring 32 points, pulling down 8 rebounds and recording 4 assists. His scoring ability was truly on display, making 14 of his 18 field goal attempts and scoring 4 out of 5 3-point attempts!
Seth will feed into our up-tempo style of play, has excellent shooting range and has great playmaking abilities. Storm fans should be excited to be able to see Seth play in front of them, he is a high character role model and will fit perfectly into the Hemel Storm family.
