CULLMAN, Ala. – The Cullman County Public Library is holding a Strawberry Festival Book Sale on Saturday, May 7 from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. The sale will take place inside the library and books will be 50 cents each. Most of the books are donations, so there will be multiple genres, new and old editions, and books for all ages to search through. The funds go toward helping the library improve its services including various youth and adult learning programs it does throughout the year. Sales will assist with buying new equipment like a book mobile and help add to the already vast collection of books.

The library is located at 200 Clark St NE just down the street from the Strawberry Festival, so families can stop by on their way to the festival to peruse the many book choices and find a new favorite for only 50 cents. The library depends on support from the community in order to continue to provide their free services. The library offers an abundance of resources for the community including books in print, e-books, movies, music, audio books (also available for mobile downloads), magazines and programs and services for all ages. Cullman County Public Library cards are issued free to all Cullman area residents ages 16 and older. Residents of Cullman can also take advantage of the library’s Wi-Fi mobile hotspot while they visit the library.

The Friends of the Public Libraries of Cullman County encourage donations to help the library add new services to enhance the community. Donations of any amount can be made at: http://www.ccpls.com/donate.html.
