Obituary: Noah Cole

Noah Cole, 75, of Odenville, Alabama, passed away on January 30, 2022.  Noah was a beloved father, loyal brother, dedicated uncle and friend to those he knew. Noah’s pride came from helping those he loved, and his dedicated service to the US Armed Forces. His military service began in Vietnam aboard the USS Ticonderoga. Upon completion of his contract, he was honorably discharged from the US Navy. In 1989, Noah enlisted in the US Army Reserves. He then continued his service in Operation Iraqi Freedom from 2004-2005.  After Noah returned to the states, he retired as a staff sergeant on September 20, 2006.

Noah was born on September 20, 1946, in Cullman, Alabama. He is survived by son: Phillip (Melissa) Cole; daughters: Angie (Rick) Joyner and Laura Cole; grandchildren: Ashlyn Joyner, Andy Cole, Ty Joyner, Trenton Cole and Anna Cole; siblings: Ronald (Phyllis) Cole, Sandra Dover, Deborah Thornton and Dianne Johnson and many loving nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father: Hubert Cole and mother: Nora Cole.

Friends and family will be received on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at Hanceville Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on February 3, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Hanceville Funeral Home.  A burial service will follow at Hopewell Cemetery in Hanceville, Alabama.
