Willie Mae (Watson) Rooks, age 91, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2022. Willie was born November 16, 1930 in Thornton, Mississippi to Christopher Columbus and Claudia Mae Yeager Watson.
She is preceded in death by husband: Ervil Rooks; brothers: Marvin Watson and Charles Watson and her parents.
A graveside service for Willie will be held Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Cullman City Cemetery (812 9th Street, Cullman, AL 35055), followed by an interment. Bro. Wade Maynard will officiate the service. Survivors are sons: Tim (Michelle) Rooks and Bill Rooks; stepson: Frank Rooks; sister: Ellen Perry; brother: Herman Watson, 17 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the graveside Saturday at 11:00 a.m.
