Funeral service for Roland C. Freeman, 86, of Crane Hill will be at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 31, 2022 at Mt. Hope Baptist Church with interment in the adjoining cemetery. Rev. Phillip Robinson will officiate. The body will lie in state at the church on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Mr. Freeman passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at his residence. He was born October 18, 1935 to William Hiram and Vessie Bice Freeman.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: J.C. Freeman, Herbert Freeman, Buron Freeman, Hershel Freeman and Javan Freeman and sisters: Imogene Robinson and Willodean Bailey.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years: Annie Freeman; son: Hiram Freeman; daughters: Deborah (Perry) Brown and LeAnne (Baron) Vincent; granddaughter: Emily (Austin) Barrett; great-grandson: Archer Barrett; sister-in-law: Freda Freeman and a host of family and friends.
