Funeral service for Marc Edward Harris, age 52, of Fairview, will be on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. prior to the service.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Harris died on Monday, November 29, 2021, at his residence. He was born on August 7, 1969, in Hartselle, Alabama.
Marc worked for Willo Products in Decatur, Alabama, as a sales and service manager and was an alumni of Fairview High School, Class of 1987. Marc was dedicated to his community and served as an officer of the Fairview Alumni Association. He was, for many years, the sports announcer at Fairview, where he served with love and pride for the Fairview Aggies. Marc was also the president of the Fishing 4 A Cure 4 ALS nonprofit organization, raising $94,500 to help find a cure. Marc was an avid football fan and loved his Auburn Tigers. Most importantly, he loved the Lord and was a loving son, brother and uncle. His nieces and nephews were his pride and joy and Uncle Marc will be missed dearly.
Marc was preceded in death by his grandparents: M.L. and Sudie Harris of Fairview and Quinoth and Montez Moore of Fairview.
He is survived by his parents: Barry and Quinita Harris of Fairview; two brothers: Chris (Dena) Harris and Adam (Megan) Harris; two nephews: Christopher Brady Harris (Diana Sanchez-Lopez) and Quinoth Kyle Harris; two nieces: Chelsi Lane (Dakota) Smith and Emma Whatley Harris; three great-nephews: Dawson Lane Smith, Oakley Kota Smith and Archer Eli Harris; one great-niece: Eliana Rose Harris and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.
