Bartlett earns professional municipal designation

GOOD HOPE, Ala. – Good Hope Mayor Jerry Bartlett recently earned the designation of Advanced Certified Municipal Official.

According to a statement from the Alabama League of Municipalities:

“Mayor Jerry Bartlett of Good Hope has earned the professional designation of Advanced Certified Municipal Official. In order to achieve this high honor, a municipal official must first complete 40 credit hours of training conducted or endorsed by the Alabama League of Municipalities to receive the designation of Certified Municipal Official. The individual must then complete an additional 40 hours of training to receive an advanced certification. Mayor Jerry Bartlett is a member of the 22nd graduating class of Advanced Certified Municipal Officials and was recognized for his accomplishments during graduation ceremonies held in Montgomery, AL on October 29, 2020.”

Unfortunately, Bartlett was unable to attend the graduation ceremony in Montgomery due to testing positive for COVID-19 at the time.
