CULLMAN, Ala. – The “all-clear” has been given by Cullman County Sheriff Matt Gentry and Cullman Police Chief Kenny Culpepper following an interior and exterior search after a bomb threat was called in to the Cullman County Courthouse Friday morning.

The Cullman County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) searched the interior, while the Cullman Police Department (CPD) secured the perimeter, according to Culpepper.

The bomb threat mentioned a suspicious package, according to authorities. Nothing was found.

Personnel from the CCSO, CPD, Cullman EMS, Cullman Fire Rescue and Vinemont-Providence Volunteer Fire Department all responded. The firefighters had also worked a structure fire along 13th Street and were in the area.
