CULLMAN, Ala. – A home was destroyed by fire on the northeast side of the city of Cullman  just after 11 Friday morning. The house is located at 96 13th St. near Main Avenue.

“About 10 after 11, we received a call of a fully-involved house fire, and on arrival we had heavy fire showing. The guys made an attack on the fire, got it contained,” said Cullman Fire Rescue Chief Brian Bradberry. “We had no injuries; everyone was out of the house on arrival so that’s positive, a real good thing.”

Bradberry said all three Cullman Fire Rescue stations responded to the call.

“It’s under control,” he said just after 12:30 p.m. “We’re trying to determine cause at this time, but we’re just happy everybody got out and not hurt. Like I said, we have no reported injuries from anybody, the homeowners or any of our firefighters at this time. If you would, keep everyone in prayer that was in there. We had Red Cross come out to help them out.”
