Funeral services for Ethelene Normand, 99, of Cullman will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 22, 2019 at Bethlehem East Church. Interment will follow at Pawnee Cemetery at noon. The family will receive friends for a visitation from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 21 at Hanceville Funeral Home.
Mrs. Normand, the widow of the late Reverend Lawrence Normand, passed peacefully at her home at the age of 99.
Mrs. Normand is survived by her children Anthony (Claudia) Normand, Cullman, AL, and David (Patti) Normand, Marietta, GA, and two grandchildren Kimberly Normand, Austin, TX, and Patrick Normand, Acworth, GA.
Mrs. Normand is preceded in death by her husband Reverend Lawrence Normand, her siblings Gracie Tompkins and Fred, Alton, Chester and Leslie Boren.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the caregivers Debbie Nix, Janice Holmes, Mary Jo Parker and all other staff of Cullman Regional Medical Center Hospice.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested for donations to be made to CRMC Hospice of Cullman, 1912 AL Hwy. 157 Cullman, AL 35055.
