Wal-Mart Distribution gives large donation to United Way’s ‘Stuff the Bus’ school supply drive

CULLMAN, Ala. — With just one day left in United Way of Cullman County’s ‘Stuff the Bus’ school supply drive, Wal-Mart Distribution Center has stepped in to provide a big donation. WDC’s Dustin Elliott stopped by the United Way office Thursday afternoon and dropped off more than 300 school supply items for local students to use this year.

The drive began on July 19 and will conclude tomorrow on the 26th, but United Way will continue accepting donations after the event ends.

Main drop-off location: the parking lot south of the courthouse – Look for the big yellow bus!

  • Number 2 pencils
  • Glue sticks
  • Rulers
  • Index cards
  • Graph paper
  • 1-inch and 2-inch three-ring binders
  • Crayons
  • Zippered pencil cases
  • Hand sanitizer
  • Colored pencils
  • Composition notebooks
  • Red, blue, and black pens
  • Erasers
  • Safety scissors
  • Loose-leaf notebook paper
