CULLMAN, Ala. – Multiple agencies responded to a fire at Stone Bridge Farms early Sunday evening, where a cottage in the northeast corner of the property had caught fire.
Firefighters from Hanceville Fire and Rescue, Cullman Fire Rescue, Johnson’s Crossing Volunteer Fire Department and Berlin Volunteer Fire Department, along with personnel from Cullman EMS, Hanceville Police, and the Cullman County Sheriff’s Office worked the scene, which was already heavily involved when the first crews arrived.
Though the cottage appears to be a complete loss, firefighters contained the blaze and prevented it from spreading to the large grassy field and farmland surrounding the structure.
With the fire mostly out, officers from Hanceville and Cullman EMS confirmed that no one was injured in the fire, and that all emergency responders were safe.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
