Funeral services for Rev. Jimmy Wayne Greathouse, age 78, will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at Ridgecrest Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Union Baptist Church Cemetery in Warrior, with Pastor Keith Whitley, Pastor Carlos Wilhite & Pastor Jeff Isbell officiating. He will lie-in-state at the church from noon until 2 p.m. when the service begins.
Jimmy was born on April 30, 1941 and passed away on Saturday July 6, 2019 at Princeton Baptist Medical Center. He was a lifelong Minister in the area. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clanton & Clara Coffman Greathouse; 1st wife Charlotte and 2nd wife Janice; son, Jimmy Clanton Greathouse; and one brother Johnny Greathouse.
Survivors include one Daughter – Carmen Greathouse; Sister – Linda Cheatwood Dickerson; Aunt – Mona Roberts; 2 – Nieces – Jayna Green & Becky Devine; 2 – Nephews – Darren Cheatwood & Chris Cheatwood.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday July 9, 2019 from 4:30 p.m. until 8 p.m.
