Obituary: Willie Crow

Willie Crow, 78, of the Walter community, passed away Saturday, June 8, 2019.

He was born in Morgan County to Herman O’Brien and Hattie Ramey Crow.

Willie worked in small engine repair. Willie served our country in the U.S. Army, was a member of the Baptist faith, member of the Masons, Shriners and Eastern Star. He served as a Worthy Patron of the Eastern Star.

He was predeceased by his parents; brothers, Claud, Robert and Elton Crow; sisters, Rachel Halsey, and Nina Sutton.

Survivors are his wife of 51 years, Brenda Hale Crow; brothers, Donald and Tommy Crow; sisters, Reva Byrd and Linda Freeman; brother-in-law, Glen Hale, Fred Hale, Randy Hale; sisters-in-laws Barbara Crow, Sue Barnett, and Sandra Allison; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, June 9 at Holly Pond Funeral Home.  A special tribute by the Eastern Star will be presented at 7:30 p.m.

Funeral will be at Holly Pond Funeral Home 2 p.m. Monday, June 10, G.T. Roberson officiating.  Burial will follow at Center Point Cemetery with Masons rites.
