Gloria Faye Yates of Cullman, formerly of Huntsville, passed away May 28, 2019 at the age of 87.
She was born April 18, 1932 to Louis and Alabama Swann Johnson.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Edward R. Yates, sisters Arzola Parker, Tassie E. Douglas, brothers James P., H.M. and Lloyd Johnson.
She was a resident of Norfolk Virginia before she moved to Huntsville.
Funeral services are Friday, May 31, 2019 at noon at Moss Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Sidney Johnson officiating. Interment will be in East Point Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery.
Survivors are: son Douglas Yates, brothers Herbert Johnson, Sidney (Jean) Johnson, Bill Johnson, grandchildren D.J. Yates and Casey and a host of other family.
Visitation is Friday at Moss Funeral Home beginning at 11 a.m.
