HARTSELLE, Ala. – With the playoffs looming later this week, the Cullman Lady Bearcats capped off the regular season with a 6-0 performance on the road against Hartselle. Abby Branham found the back of the net twice for the Lady Bearcats and Annabeth Mauldin, Mimi Lunsford, Elle Atchison and Mercy van Dyke all scored in the win as well.

Head coach Jacob Brown likes the way his team looks right now and they’re ready to get the postseason underway.

“We played well. Good game before the playoffs,” Brown said. “All I can is, we are ready.”

Cullman will host Albertville at 6 p.m. Thursday to kick off this year’s AHSAA State Soccer Playoffs.
