Smith Lake Park Spring Yard Sale– Saturday, March 30

Join us on Saturday, March 30 for our Smith Lake Park Spring Yard Sale! It's free to the public! Set up begins at 6 a.m. and sale begins at 7 a.m.

Vendor grass spots are $10 and pavilions are $35 and $55. Vendors will pay at the gate on the day of the sale. Reservations only needed for pavilions.

5K Walk & Run Benefiting Garrison Gives Hope– Saturday, March 30

Come join us for a 5K Walk & Run supporting Garrison Gives Hope and the Cullman Area Mental Health Authority. All proceeds go toward LOCAL FOLKS who need access to care or medications and who struggle with mental health issues here in our community. Relay For Life March Madness Golf Tournament– Saturday, March 30

The Wallace State Relay For Life team will hold a March Madness Golf Tournament on Saturday, March 30, at Cross Creek Golf Course. Check in will begin at 11 a.m., with a 12 p.m. shotgun start. The two-player scramble is flighted and includes a couple’s division. Entry is $120 per team, and includes green fees and cart with GPS and club cover, team range balls, tournament gift, one attempt for longest drive, one attempt for closest pin, one attempt for closest second shot, dinner, prizes/photo. Team options include skins game, chipping and putting contest and mulligans. Cash prizes will be awarded. Colony Alabama 200 Bicentennial Celebration– Saturday, March 30

The Town of Colony will unveil its Alabama 200 Bicentennial mural project at 5 p.m. this Saturday at the Colony Educational Complex. The five-piece collection includes information and images of Colony’s early communities, history, “then and now,” churches and local sites. Drew Green, director of the Cullman County Museum and chairman of the Cullman County Bicentennial Committee, will come down to help Mayor Donnis Leeth open the exhibit.  Folks from all over Cullman County are invited to join in the celebration that will include live music, skits, oral history presentations and refreshments. 151 Byars Rd, Hanceville, AL 35077

 

Bingo at the American Legion- Saturday, March 30

Everyone is invited to Bingo every Saturday night at 6 at American Legion Post 4.
