Mrs. Pauline "Polly" Burks, 89 of Holly Pond, passed away early Friday morning at her residence. Mrs. Burks was born in Morgan County to Henry Gilbert Lemmond and Elma B. Maples. She is predeceased by her parents; husband, Leroy Burks; and sister, Aline Worley. Mrs. Burks is survived by her sons, Ricky (Beth) Burks and Jerry Lyle; grandchildren, Tim, Eli, Jerry, and Kathy; sister, Jean Rylant.

Funeral service will be held March 4, 2016 beginning at 2 p.m. at Holly Pond Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 12 noon until 2 p.m. on March 4, 2016.
Pall bearers will be Randy Smith, Paul Atkins, Randall Chambers, Bruce Bynum, Mark Neal, and Jacob Keisler.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holly Pond First Baptist Church, where Mrs. Burks was a member.
