Burnadine Maudie Schelles, 88 of Garland, Texas, formerly of Double Springs, entered into rest on February 26, 2016 in Dallas, Texas.

Burnadine was born on October 3, 1927 in Topeka, Kansas. She was a member of Phil Campbell Seventh-day Adventist Church for 20 years. Bernadine enjoyed reading, going to the auction, and traveling. She also enjoyed being with her family, eating out, spring time and fall of the year. Burnadine worked as an LPN and was a homemaker. She loved life, and the simple things of life.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2016 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Double Springs. Services will be held Friday, March 4, 2015 at Phil Campbell Seventh-Day Adventist Church at 1 p.m. Pastor Tony Pitts will officiate. Burial will follow in the Mount Ebron Cemetery, Double Springs.

She is survived by her sons, Dennis (Michelle) Schelles and David Schelles; daughters, Susan Bauder and Kristy Webb; grandchildren, Joshua Powell and Veronica Schelles Nichols; and great-grandchildren, Chandler Nichols and Lander Nichols.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Maudie Burson; brother, Marion Burson; sister, Beatrice Bullock, and brother in-law, Harold Bullock.
