Ottis Lavon "Sweat" Sweatmon passed away January 10, 2015 at Walker Baptist Medical Center. He was 68 years old.
Funeral Services will be held January 14, 2015 at Welcome Baptist Church at 2 p.m. He will lie in state at the Church from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. Rev. Kenny Sudduth officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday at the funeral home from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.
He is survived by his wife: Shirley Knop Sweatmon, Son: Richard Kevin (Yolanda) Garmon, Grandsons: Alex & Kendall Garmon, Mother: Margie Elam Burrow, Sisters: Kathy (Johnny) Green, Dean (Floye) Meigs & Carolyn Elam and a Host of Nieces & Nephews
He was preceded in death by his Father: Waymon Elam and a brother Olen Elam.
