Funeral Services for Lois Looney Dollar, passed away on January 11, 2015 at the age of 98 at Daffodil House in Tuscaloosa, AL. She was born in Addison, AL on April 16, 1916 where she and her husband, Loyd "Cotton" Dollar lived until their retirement when they moved to Cullman, AL. Lois was a Godly mother and taught children in Sunday School at Addison First Baptist Church for many years.

Visitation will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at Moss-Service Funeral Home in Cullman. A Service celebrating a long life, well lived will follow in the Chapel at 2 p.m. with her son-in-law Weldon Cole officiating. Burial will follow at Cullman City Cemetery

She is preceded in death by her husband Loyd Dollar, her mother and father George Washington Looney and Flora Looney; her sisters, Louise Williams, Leola Hessom, Clovis Calahan and brothers Gordon and Earl Looney.

She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law – Edgar and Lucille Looney of Decatur, AL; and her daughter and son-in-law – Delores and Weldon Cole of Tuscaloosa, AL and several nieces and nephews.

Honorary pallbearers will be Gail Hales, Pat Gooden and the entire staff at Daffodil house where she was comforted in her later years, Vickie King and the staff at Hospice of West Alabama; Dr. Regina Harrell, the ever faithful Naomi Sunday School class at Calvary Baptist Church, her deacon, Wayne Randall and his wife Brenda; Janice McCray who stood by her home after the tornado destroyed LaRocca Nursing Home and her dear friends Alene Johnson, Sherrie Schmoltz and Ann Skipper.

In lieu-of-flowers, memorial may be made to The 21st Century Fund, Calvary Baptist Church or Hospice of West Alabama.
