Funeral services for Mr. William Paul "Bill" Peyton, age 82 of Cullman will be Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at 11 a.m. from Moss-Service Chapel, Rev. Deborah Moon officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Vernon cemetery.

Mr. Peyton passed away, Saturday at Hospice of Marshall County Shepherd's Cove. He was born and reared in Jeffersonville Indiana November 3, 1932 to John Paul and Minnie Baird Peyton. He graduated high school and college in Indiana and worked as an advertising dispatch for the Courier Journal and Louisville Times in Kentucky.

He served in the Air Force for four years in San Antonio, TX. He was a member of Clark Co. Lodge in Indiana. He moved to Alabama to enjoy "Southern Life". He loved square dancing and was a junior square dance caller, starting dancing at age ten. He was an avid reader and loved to travel especially to Tunica.

He is preceded in death by his parents and special aunt; Mamie Baird.

Survivors include his wife; Vondaleen Latham Peyton, three daughters; Paula (Glenn) Hardin, Pam (Josh) Piatt, and Sandy (Bobbie) Sorrell, a son; Scot (Debbie) Peyton, seven grandchildren, a brother and sister-in-law; Harold and Betty Hyatt, several nieces, nephews and friends along with beloved Yorkie (Bella),Huskie (Dekota) and five cats.
