CROSSVILLE, Ala. — Good Hope erupted for 26 points during the opening quarter Friday night and blanked Crossville 46-0 in Class 4A, Region 8 action.
The Raiders added 13 points during the second quarter to build a commanding 39-0 advantage by halftime.
Good Hope extended its lead to 46-0 with 7 more points during the third quarter. Neither team scored in the final quarter.
The Raiders improved to 3-1 overall and remained unbeaten in region play at 3-0. Good Hope has now won three consecutive games after opening the season with a 7-point loss to Plainview.
Good Hope has outscored Brewer, Guntersville and Crossville 128-44 during its three Region 8 victories.
Friday night’s win also marked the Raiders’ first shutout of the season.
Good Hope will travel to West Point for a nonregion matchup Friday, Sept. 25. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
