Funeral Service for Maude Louise Rutledge, age 92 of Cullman, will be at 6 p.m. on Sunday, September 20, 2026, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home with Terry Michael officiating; burial at Cullman City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. – 6 p.m. on Sunday, September 20, 2026, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home.

Mrs. Rutledge passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at Hanceville Nursing Home. She was born, February 26, 1934, to Vance Deason and Ruby Byrd Deason.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Rutledge; son, Donn Rutledge; daughter, Susan Michael; son-in-law, Jerry Collins; sister, Carolyn Stimus; brother, Vance Deason, Jr.
Survivors include her children, Tony Rutledge (Cheryl); Cathy Collins, David Rutledge (Summer), Patricia “Patti” Lynn Cantrell-Wilson (David), Beth Glasscock (Michael),21 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; sisters, MaryAnn Deason and Agnes O’Sullivan (John), sister-in-law, Marie Key and son-in-law, Terry Michael.
