CULLMAN, Ala.  – The Cullman County Democratic Executive Committee will meet Saturday, Aug. 22, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Colony Educational Complex for the group’s quadrennial organizing meeting for 2026-2030.

In accordance with bylaws, members of the executive committee will meet to elect the officers for the next four-year period. The group will elect a chair, vice chair, treasurer and secretary.

“There are vacancies on the executive committee in each of the county districts. If you would be interested in serving as a member of the Cullman County Democratic Executive Committee, you need to be a member of the Cullman County Democratic Party in good standing. You can join that day at the meeting. Voting will be done in person,” said a media release.

The meeting will include a potluck style meal as well. Attendees can bring a beverage, side dish or dessert to share.

“We will also have Amanda Puczek, Democratic candidate for Alabama’s 4th Congressional District, with us and possibly other candidates,” said the release. “Later that evening, from 6-8 p.m., Amanda will be hosting her Mobilize the 4th Canvass Launch at Heritage Park in Cullman. This event is part of her voter outreach efforts in Cullman County. More information will be provided by the campaign.”

The Colony Educational Complex is located at 151 Byars Road, Hanceville, AL 35077.
