CULLMAN, Ala. – Dripping Springs Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, will host a Genealogy Workshop Thursday, July 9, 2026, from 1-3 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Traditions Bank Annex, 109 Second Ave. NW, Cullman.
Alice Jones, state registrar of the Alabama Society, Daughters of the American Revolution, will speak. The title of her talk is “Unearth a Story: Researching Your Revolutionary War Ancestors.” She will report on how to get started, DAR and SAR resources, how to complete a DAR application and specialty research. After the presentation, there will be time for questions and individual help. Please bring your laptop for specific assistance.
The workshop is open to everyone – whether you want to join a lineage society or you just want to know more about your ancestors.
