CULLMAN, Ala. – Visit Cullman recently announced the launch of the first-ever Cullman Restaurant Week, taking place Sept. 10–21, a communitywide celebration of Cullman County’s growing and diverse culinary scene. The 11-day event will debut with an exciting inaugural kick-off experience, “Culinary in Cullman,” bringing together local restaurants for an unforgettable evening of flavors and fellowship.
Cullman Restaurant Week invites participating restaurants to showcase their unique offerings through special menus, exclusive discounts or limited-time incentives designed to attract both residents and visitors. The initiative aims to drive increased foot traffic, encourage diners to explore new establishments and elevate Cullman as a destination for exceptional dining experiences.
“This is an opportunity to celebrate our local restaurants in a big way,” said Harmony Steed, executive director of Visit Cullman. “Cullman’s culinary scene continues to grow, and Restaurant Week allows us to support our local businesses during a need period while inviting both locals and visitors to experience something new.”
The signature kick-off event, Culinary in Cullman, will serve as the official launch of Restaurant Week. Participating restaurants will offer tastings and interactive experiences, giving attendees a preview of the flavors they can enjoy throughout the week. To ensure a strong and unified start, participation in the kick-off event is required for inclusion in Cullman Restaurant Week.
“Cullman Restaurant Week is a fantastic opportunity to highlight the unique restaurants and small businesses that make our community special,” said Cullman City Council President Kim Hall. “I’m proud to work alongside Visit Cullman and our community partners to bring this event to life in a way that supports our local restaurants and strengthens our economy.”
Visit Cullman will provide comprehensive marketing support for all participating restaurants, including digital advertising, social media promotion and inclusion in official Restaurant Week materials. The event is expected to become an annual tradition, strengthening the local economy and positioning Cullman as a must-visit culinary destination in north Alabama.
An official press conference to unveil event details will be held on May 26 at 4 p.m. More information will be released following the announcement.
Restaurants interested in participating in Cullman Restaurant Week are encouraged to contact Visit Cullman for more information.
