Funeral Service for Jimmie Lou Golden, age 97 of Cullman, will be at 1 p.m. on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home with Donald Smith officiating; burial at Cullman Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home.

Mrs. Golden passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2026, at Cullman Regional. She was born, January 5, 1929, to James Martin Steele and Louella Goodwin Steele.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Woodrow Wilson Golden; daughter, Violet Lou Golden; grandchild, Emily Grace White; 4 sisters and 3 brothers.
Survivors include her daughter, Rachel Yeager; sons, Dale (Theresa) Golden and Danny (Vickie) Golden; grandchildren, Angela (Jim) Schwaiger, Christen (Wes) Martin, Annabella (Michael) Villano, Anjelica (Nathan) Hyatt, Noah Golden, Mackenzie (Kevin) Fruth, Mallory Golden, Gabrielle (Conner) McClain, Jon Luke Golden, Eric Limbaugh; great grandchildren, Autumn (Scott) Barnett, Tyler Grace, Alicia Villano, Arlo Villano and August Villano; great great grandchildren, Nora Mae Barnett, Ruthie Katherine Barnett and Bonnie Jane Barnett; brother, Douglas (Juanita) Steele and a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends.
