Funeral service for Janice Jones, age 77, of Cullman, will be Tuesday, April 14,2026, at 2 p.m. at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home, with Bro. John Garrison officiating. Visitation will be on Monday, April 13, 2026, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home. Mrs. Jones will lie in state on Tuesday from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., prior to the funeral service. She will be laid to rest at Ellenburg Cemetery in Hulaco.

Janice was born on January 30, 1949, to Willie Edward Allred and Jessie Jewel Hancock Allred. She passed away at Cullman Regional Medical Center on Saturday, April 11, 2026.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Mural Gordon Jones; son, Mel Jones.
She is survived by four children, Renea Gaines (Randy), Tina Bright (Jason), Tammy Evans (Jody Wilson), and Maylon Jones (Mary); grandchildren, Tiffany (Justin) Williams, Courtney McLeod (Mike), Kaleb Jones, Eric Chumley, Brodie Curvin (Lexie), Bryant Curvin, Kehl Bright (Emily), and Creek Evans; great-grandchildren, Wyatt Williams, Jackson Williams, Layla Ray, Conner Ray, Asher Lane, and Kinley Curvin; sisters, Sue Mills (Robbie), Betty Keenum (Earskin), Wanda Pigg (Matt); brother, Donald Ray Allred; special friend, Robert Kilgo; and a host of family and friends.
