HANCEVILLE, Ala. – Hanceville Elementary School was recognized Thursday, Feb. 12, at the Alabama State Board of Education meeting for an extraordinary accomplishment – earning a place among the Top 25 Most Improved Schools in the state.

“The recognition follows a monumental achievement for Hanceville: a remarkable 16-point gain on the state report card in just one year. The significant increase reflects the hard work, dedication and commitment of the school’s students, teachers, administrators and families,” said a release from Cullman County Schools.

As part of the Legislative School Performance Program Award, Hanceville Elementary received an $8,000 check in recognition of its progress. The funds will support continued efforts to enhance student learning and academic success.

Congratulations to Hanceville Elementary on this outstanding achievement!
