Gregory Bryan Booker Jr, age 33, passed away on December 12th, 2025, leaving behind a love and legacy that will never fade.

Born in Tampa, Florida, he spent his early years loving sports, especially baseball, where some of his favorite memories were made playing alongside his dad. As a child, he was easygoing and full of life, traits that stayed with him throughout his years.

Gregory later moved to Alabama during his teenage years, where his interests grew to include fast cars, hunting, fishing, shooting guns out in the field, and spending time outdoors. It was there that he began building the life he loved most; his family.

He was a loving father to his two sons, Grayson and Carter Booker and carried a deep, unbreakable love for his daughter, Nova Joanne Booker, born sleeping (November 2022). All three of his children were his world.

He was laid back, genuine, and had a heart of gold. He would help anyone who needed it and was always there for others, no matter the time or circumstance. If you needed him, he showed up.

He loved his motorcycle, the open road, and the brotherhood of his motorcycle club, where friendships became family. He also cherished time with friends, was always down for any adventure, and never turned down a chance to make memories. Gregory also enjoyed his family get togethers because it meant spending time with family. And while he wasn’t much of a dancer, boy did he loved to get down.

Gregory will be deeply missed by his family, his children, his friends, and all whose lives were better for knowing him.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Nova Joanne Booker; grandfather, Robert Coulter; grandmother, Ruth Puleo; great-grandmother, Peart Batts.

Survivors include his grandparents, Ray and Martha Booker, Arlene Coulter (“Joe”), Charlie Almerico (Donna); parents, Gregg and Charlene Booker; sons, Grayson Booker, Carter Booker; sister, Emily Jones; nephew, Bennett Jones; aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.

Funeral service will be Thursday, December 18th, 2025, at 5 p.m. at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel, Pastor Matt Carmichael officiating.  The family will receive friends on Thursday at the funeral home from 3-5 p.m.  There will be a Celebratory of Life at Daystar Church immediately following the service.

Cullman Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
