CULLMAN, Ala. – A Hayden man was killed in a two-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 6 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 10. Alabama State Troopers identified the victim as Robert W. Nerovich, 36.
Troopers said Nerovich was fatally injured when the 2011 Ford E-350 he was driving struck a 2026 Freightliner tractor-trailer driven by Tyavian T. Ingram, 26, of Raleigh, North Carolina.
Nerovich was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash occurred on Interstate 65, near Alabama Highway 69, approximately 1 mile north of Dodge City, in Cullman County.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
