VINEMONT, Ala. – The Town of South Vinemont will host its fourth annual Christmas in the Park on Sunday, Dec. 7, welcoming the community for an evening packed full of Christmas cheer at the South Vinemont Walking Trail and Art Park. The event will take place from 4-6 p.m. and is free to the public.
Guests can enjoy visits with Santa Claus, complimentary cookies and hot chocolate and plenty of photo opportunities throughout the decorated park. The Town encourages attendees to bring their families, stroll the Tinsel Trail on display and take in the seasonal lights and decorations that transform the park during the Christmas season.
Town Clerk Kayecea Sasser said she looks forward to the event each year because of the joy and sense of unity it brings to South Vinemont.
“I’m excited for Christmas in the Park because it’s more than just lights and music; it’s a chance for our small town to come together, share smiles and make memories that last long after the season ends,” Sasser said. “My hope is that everyone who comes leaves with a little more joy in their heart, a stronger sense of connection and the reminder that we’re all part of something special here at home in South Vinemont.”
