Mark Steven Whisenhunt, born on December 13, 1960, in Cullman, Alabama, passed away on November 17, 2025, at the age of 64.
Mark is preceded in death by his parents: Luther and Maxine Whisenhunt.
Mark was an Eagle Scout, a truck driver and an amazing fisherman and he had a great love for the outdoors. Mark was a graduate of Fairview High School.
Mark is survived by: Wife: Wendy Whisenhunt, Daughters: Lindsey (Wesley) Slaton, Mallory (Justin) Jones, Emily Whisenhunt, Sons: Zachary (Kyria) Whisenhunt, Ryan (Logan) Whisenhunt, Sister: Rosemary (David) Herge, 11 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild.
A visitation will be held at Moss-Service Funeral Home, located at 1901 2nd Ave North West, Cullman, AL 35055, on November 20, 2025, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The funeral service will take place at St. John’s Evangelical Protestant Church, situated at 512 2nd Ave SE, Cullman, AL 35055, on November 21, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Mark will lie in state at the church for one hour prior to the service at 11 a.m.
Mark was a resident of Holly Pond, Alabama.
