Local youth fare well at fall sheep show

Evan Roden of Cullman County exhibited the Fourth Overall Champion Ewe in the Youth Sheep Show at the Alabama National Fair Oct. 11, in Montgomery. It was also the Reserve Champion Alabama Born & Bred and Reserve Champion Blackface Cross. Alabama Farmers Federation and Alfa Insurance sponsored youth livestock events at the fair. Adam Heffelinger of Indiana judged the show. 

Evan Roden of Cullman County exhibited the Overall Reserve Grand Champion Market Lamb in the Youth Sheep Show at the Alabama National Fair Oct. 11, in Montgomery. It was also the Blackface Reserve Champion. Alabama Farmers Federation and Alfa Insurance sponsored youth livestock events at the fair. Adam Heffelinger of Indiana judged the show.

Intermediate Premier Exhibitor is for exhibitors ages 13-15 and consists of showmanship, livestock evaluation and a written test.
