Dorothy Lee Burleson, age 95, of Hanceville, Alabama passed away on Monday, October 6, 2025. Dorothy was born on September 26, 1930, in Bakersfield Missouri to Fred and Iola Shanks Hicks. Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband: Tom Burleson and her parents.
A celebration of Life Funeral Service will be on Friday October 10, 2025, at St. Andrews Global Methodist Church at 1 p.m. with Pastor Robert Lancaster officiating. Dorothy will lie in state for one hour prior to the funeral at the church.
Interment will follow the funeral service in Cullman City Cemetery.
Dorothy is survived by 2 sons: Mike Burleson and Tim Burleson, 4 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and a special friend: Lisa Bishop.
Visitation will be on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at Moss Funeral Home from 5:30 p.m. until 8 p.m.
