CULLMAN, Ala. – A new, locally owned business has opened up in the heart of downtown Cullman: Golden Touch Luxury Showers.
Co-owners Rita and Michael Golden said they opened their first storefront to provide durable, American-made showers at a fair cost to the community.
“I’ve been installing showers for years,” said Michael Golden. “This is our first brick-and-mortar location, and we just want to give the community a better option.”
The business uses the Onyx Collection solid surface showers, known for their strength and lifetime warranties. Golden Touch also offers vanities, faucets, toilets, modular closets, and garage storage systems. In the future, a more budget-friendly shower line called Sōke will be available. Veterans and seniors receive discounts, and the Goldens work with local partners to help disabled veterans access grants for ADA-compliant remodels.
“Our goal is to take the fear out of buying a shower. People can walk in, see the product and trust us to do it right,” said Rita Golden.
As the business grows, the Goldens said, they plan to expand to other cities like Huntsville and add more plumbing and water filtration products.
