Mary Eve Bohannon, age 80, of Cullman, Alabama passed away on July 18, 2025. She was born in Cullman, Alabama on July 2, 1945, to Dewy and Ruth Loyd.
Mary was a strong-willed, hardworking, one-of-a-kind woman. If she thought it, she said it. Her spunky attitude was complimented by her competitive nature, in which she aspired to be the best at everything she did. She raised four children, gardened, canned, and took care of potato fields. Mary was a woman of many talents with a unique personality and will be deeply missed by all that knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years Burl Bohannon, son Kirk Bohannon, and grandsons Jeremy Johnson and Brandon Purdy.
She is survived by her daughters Regina Brown and Julie Givens, son Kevin Bohannon, and six grandchildren.
The family will receive friends for a visitation at 12 p.m. until the service time at 2 p.m. in the Chapel at Stone Bridge Farms 281 Co Rd 717, Cullman, AL 35055. Mary will be laid to rest in Cullman Memory Gardens Bolte Rd SE, Cullman, AL 35055.
