CULLMAN, Ala. – Do you need assistance paying your utility bill? The Community Action Partnership of North Alabama (CAPNA) will be at the Hilltop Community Center on Tuesday, Sept. 22, to share information about its energy assistance program.
There are two times:
- 9 a.m.-noon
- 2-4 p.m.
The Hilltop Community Center located at 1545 Vine Circle SW, Cullman.
Income eligibility – maximum monthly gross income
- Household of 1: $1,995
- Household of 2: $2,705
- Household of 3: $3,415
- Household of 4: $4,125
- Household of 5: $4,835
- Household of 6: $5,545
What do you need to bring?
- Social security cards for all household (HH) members
- Current photo ID for each head of household and/or valid applicant
- Proof of income for entire previous calendar month (no bank statements). PAY DATE from check stubs is used. Bring all stubs from the previous calendar month.
- Current utility bill or utility statement (no past due notices). Present your most current utility bill or provide a statement from your utility company, stating all charges and amount due. Â
- For section 8/HUD or income-based housing, a current copy of the utility allowance. These can be obtained from the Housing Authority or listed on your current lease.
